Independence Day!!

We celebrated an Old Fashioned 4th of July on our town square this past Friday evening.

The festivities began with a bike parade.

My expectations of the fireworks show were low on the front end.  We live in a small town with, I imagine, a small budget for fireworks.  But I was pleasantly surprised by this show.  It was great!  We could probably have watched them from our house, but it was fun to see them with all of the people on the square.

The next day was officially the 4th of July.  Bella currently wants to be a farmer.  So we went on another farm visit.

This farm had a greenhouse full of tomatoes, sunflower patches, blackberries, potatoes, radishes, beets, cabbage, broccoli, and lots of herbs and other flowers.

We picked some blackberries.

This 4th of July definitely beat last years (watching fireworks on a hotel TV in Ohio!)
