Appleworks

Two Saturdays ago, our family went to the apple farm. This farm isn't a 'pick-your-own' (which is our preference), but there was a lot of other fun stuff for us to do.

This zip line was pretty neat. I got more video than photo of this, but here is Curtis before take-off.

We visited the petting zoo and went on a nature walk.

Live music entertained us while we enjoyed our apple dumplings with pumpkin ice cream.

And after that, we finally picked out our apples. 1/2 peck of Honeycrisp and 1/4 peck of Paula Reds or Pink Ladies (I can't remember which one). We made a pie out of the Paula Reds (or that other one) and saved the Honeycrisp for eating. They are our favorite.

I sure love all things apple this time of year!
