Surprise Party!

This is a big summer for my parents. My mom turned 60 in early July and my dad is retiring at the end of August. While all of us kids were in town, we wanted to throw them a party to celebrate and decided to make it a surprise. Here is the invitation we sent out.


We held it in my Grandma's backyard.  It is huge and perfect for parties!

We had the party catered (in addition to Scott's briskets) and ate some yummy BBQ meat with delicious sides.

With the exception of a few sprinkles, the party went off perfectly! Graydon did blab a little ahead of time about the party, which clued my parents in that something was going on; but I don't think they realized that we planned such a big party. I loved this night. Such a happy family memory.
