Bella competed in the Elementary Spell Bowl. Our school was up against about 20ish other county schools. They didn't place, but they all worked hard. They had 750 words to study! Bella pushed herself really hard, often wanting to stay up late and study. I think we're all feeling relieved that it's over!
Our family enjoyed a visit from Mimi Jane last week! Our few days together were packed with events like the Spell Bowl, Hope's Christmas of Yesteryear, basketball games, our church's Turkey Supper, eating lunch at school with the kids, a little bit of shopping, and eating out. We also squeezed in a couple of movies and games. Busy weekend! But we always love having her here with us.

We had the Meades over. Laura and I shared the baking duties and we enjoyed quite a feast! We watched football and played football. There was some Thanksgiving trivia and a game of Bingo. And a gator ride was thrown in there too. Super fun Thanksgiving.
