Here are the Kilps kids in their Christmas pajamas! My cousin, Bridget, bought matching pajamas for all Gen 4 kiddos at our family Christmas a few weeks ago. My kids had weekend commitments and couldn't make it up for the event, so they got theirs a little later.
All dressed up for the Christmas Eve service.
The candlelight portion of the service is always a favorite. We sat in the second row. The view of the church is much better from the back on Christmas Eve.
One of my favorite Christmas decorations is the yearly display of Christmas cards.
Bella added a few more gifts under the tree. With Christmas being on a Sunday morning this year, we didn't actually open our presents until almost noon!
Andy made sure to dress up for the occasion.
Curtis lit our Advent candles.
Time for presents!
Curtis received a basketball hoop for his bedroom from Bella and a sweatshirt from Graydon.
Graydon received a tabletop bowling game from Bella and a sweatshirt from Curtis.
Bella received fuzzy socks, hair clips, and blush from Graydon and Bananagrams from Curtis.
Funny story about Bananagrams. . . we also received this game in the mail from Mimi Jane. The only hiccup is that it came in another language! We all got a good laugh out of that. Thank you so much, Mimi, for all of our wonderful Christmas gifts!
Gifts the kids received from us:
Bella - gloves/tickets for tubing, bed tray (for doing homework), phone case, and water flosser.
Graydon - gloves/tickets for tubing and air pods
Curtis - gloves/tickets for tubing glow basketball and Dribble Up basketball (that connects with an app)
It appears that Graydon got less than Bella and Curtis, but that's just cause his airpods cost the same as their combined gifts.
The other gift all three kids received was some cash and a bank note letting them know that we opened up savings accounts for each of them and deposited $500 into each. Bella actually already had a savings account but the boys didn't. They each like the feeling of having money in the bank and we're hoping to help establish the habit of saving.
Here is Bella's reaction to her envelope of cash!
Andy and I also got gifts for each other. He got me a sweatshirt and speaker. I got him a sweater, coffee chiller, and Apple Air Tag.
Bella also got gifts for me and Andy. She got him some beard oil and chocolate. She got me a headphone headband and 1,000 piece puzzle.
After all the presents were opened, we got to using some right away.
As always, as the day wore on, it was time to clean and pack because Wisconsin here we come!
