I figured that I better crank these out now because once the little one arrives, my focus is going to be off of the belly and onto the sweet, precious new baby!

I'm Pregnant!
STAIRS!!! The gates have been up since Graydon started climbing months ago; but if they were closed he was distracted by other things. Not the case anymore. He will not be carried up or down the steps anymore - must do it himself (with a little assistance on the way down). I actually welcome this as he's getting heavier and my tummy's getting bigger. However, once he's let loose, he could spend all day going up and down, up and down. If I want to make a quick stop upstairs to change his diaper or grab something. . . forget it. He screams in discontent as soon as that gate clicks shut - thinking that my opening it must mean playtime. Every once in a while, I indulge him.
If you could hear him in this photo, he'd be telling you how much he loves the stairs (in his own jibber jabber, of course). 
And it's even more fun when Big Sister plays too!
I undoubtedly felt Pumpkin kick today. It happened during church just as Andy started his sermon. Thump. . . thump. . . thump. There were definitely three, if not four little kicks. I've been feeling movement for several weeks now, but this was the strongest by far. Very cool!
Graydon had his one-year well visit (though he is well over 13 months) this past Wednesday. He managed to escape shots this time around because of a chest cold. Our ped. actually prescribed an antibiotic to hopefully fight whatever he has. During the appointment, Bella was coughing a lot. This has been going on for about two months with her. She was on antibiotics for an ear infection two weeks ago. When the ped. re-checked Bella's ears, one was still infected. Round 2 of antibiotics for her, this time it's a stronger one. I'd love to see this cough go away. So now both kids are on antibiotics. Hopefully they are helping.
She gave herself the first snip. I think this was the part she was most excited about.
I put the bottom of her hair in a ponytail and made the cut. I am, of course, keeping it. Andy went back over everything to even it out.

Clean-up time. This may look mean, but Bella loves to use the dustbuster.
Here's the after! Since it was just before bedtime, I did not do any styling to it. I think she looks very cute. 
Earlier in the evening:
Graydon's sleep has been awesome this week! He's sleeping better than he has ever slept in his life! His previous pattern was to go down around 7:30/8:00pm and sleep until 5:00/5:30am when he'd awake to eat and then fall back to sleep until about 7:00/7:30am. He has finally dropped that last night feeding. Yay! Of course, my sleeping bliss only lasted for about one night as Bella developed an ear infection and started waking up around 3am to come into our bed. She can be kind of a bed hog. I'm really hoping she will stay asleep all night tonight.
Candy time!
This was just the beginning of the candy collections.
This was our third year attending the Halloween parade. It's held the night before Halloween and is a pretty fun tradition.
Bella was armed with her trick-or-treat bag. She wasn't going to miss out on any candy.
We followed up the parade with another Halloween party at a friend from church's house. Always a good time!
. . . except that Bella didn't want to touch the insides of the pumpkins. She opted for painting one instead.
Somebody turned 10 months old on Halloween!
Little guy had two costumes. The first was the cowboy outfit that my mom sent. For the life of me, I could not keep that hat on his head. 
That evening, he dressed up as a lion - the very same lion costume that Bella wore.
The fairy and the lion all ready for trick-or-treating! The evening was perfect. Cloudy, but in the 70s. Can't beat that! 
We went with some friends. Katelyn was a fairy too!

We now have a huge bowl full of candy. I'm sure the kids will share with Mommy and Daddy. :)
