Elementary Fun Run

Since Graydon has been training with our school's running club this semester, he was definitely interested in participating in our county's elementary school fun run. And since Graydon was doing it, Curtis wanted to as well. Third and Fourth graders ran a mile.

Graydon finished his mile with a time of 9:17.

Here comes Curtis! He didn't quite have all of the training that Graydon had, but we were still impressed with him. Last year, he ran the half mile and was dying at the end. I wasn't sure what to expect from him in a race that was twice as long. He kept going even when he was tired and finished with a time of 10:30.






Sweet relief mixed with pure exhaustion!
