Easter

We dyed our eggs on a dreary day a few days before Easter.

We've officially reached the stage where the kids don't need any help (other than me prepping everything). I really enjoy just being able to watch them do things.

Towards the end, they began mixing colors and partially dipping to come up with different creations. This was how it all turned out. :)

On the day before Easter, we put on our own egg hunt for the kids. I love doing this.

Baskets are full.  Looks like the hunt it just about over.

Bella found so many that she had to stuff some in her pockets.

Easter Sunday!

I usually like to get photos of the kids just after getting them ready for the day. But we went to the sunrise service this year and didn't have time before church. Then there was the breakfast following sunrise service, the contemporary service, and then the traditional service. Busy morning and not a lot of time for pictures until it was all done. But other than the curls in Bella's hair straightening a bit, they didn't look too different after such a full morning.

It felt good to change into comfy clothes after all of that! And the kids finally got to search for their baskets. Curtis's was hid under an end table in the living room. Graydon's was in the laundry room sink, and Bella's was in a cabinet under the kitchen sink. (If you look in the background, you can see our new fireplace that is still under construction. I'll have a post on that once it's all done!)

The kids got new swimsuits and some treats in their baskets.

We had the entire Kilps family over, minus Tom. It's crazy to actually be able to celebrate the holidays with family! We had a fun time together and the weather was beautiful. The kids played outside, we took a walk, and sat outside on the deck. Wonderful day. :)
