End of Track Season

Curtis's 4x100 meter relay team earned a trip to the Regional Track Meet in Bloomington, IN.

There they are heading toward their event.

I only took video of the actual race, no pictures. They didn't earn a top spot at the competition, but they did end up breaking our school record in this event! More on this to come.

Here are the four Hauser track teammates who qualified for Regionals: Curtis's relay team and Nolan (in the middle) who qualified in the 1600 and 3200 meter races. Nolan ended up qualifying for state with his 3200 meter performance!

Their coach, Mr Finke, is on the left.

A couple weeks later at the track banquet, these four were recognized for making it to Regionals and were given plaques for breaking the school record.

They also got to update the track record display case in the hallway. The record they broke had been held since 1982!

The next day they were honored at the Mid Hoosier Conference banquet. This is where top athletes in spring sports from the seven Mid Hoosier Conference schools are recognized.

It was definitely a successful track season for Curtis!

The next two photos are just randoms I took in May. The first is a screenshot from one of Bella's Instagram stories from the day she moved out of her dorm. She had her roommate lived together in the same exact dorm room for their first two years of college. They are getting an apartment together next year, so they officially said goodbye to room 465 in Dehority Hall.

I looked out the window one evening and yelled for the kids to all look outside at the full rainbow. It was actually double, but that's hard to tell in the photo. It's rare that you get to see both ends of a rainbow, so this was noteworthy.
